Brisbane devMEET: Thanks! + DecemberI'd just like to thank those of you who ended up coming to the meet today, it was a little dissapointing to see that not everyone turned up but we had a nice little bunch of people.
We made enough money to cover the food $52.15 and enough to cover the brisvegas cricket set $12.00 but lost money on 4 bags of ice and two packets of chips. Thank you to everyone who put in $5 or more it was very generous of you to do so.
I hope everyone who got a T-shirt, Lanyard, Stickers, Badges or patches were happy. Thanks for getting involved in the cricket... even those sleeping in the out field!
I am sad to say that the Christmas BBQ will be the last one I put on from now on unless enough people request a BBQ [and turn up!] it hurts my pocket when we just scrape up enough 5 cent pieces to cover the food.
I have enjoyed putting these on for all of you and hope that you will all come for the 4th Annual OMFGWTFXMASBBQ!!! I will do my best to get more devWEAR goodies to give away!

4th Annual OMFGWTFXMASBBQ!!!
When: TBVO December 2007 [To Be Voted On]
Where: South Bank Parklands, BBQ spot near Suncorp Piazza [next to playground]
Time: Arrive between 10:00 and 11:30am Finishing around 2:30pm onwards
What to bring: Monies to donate, hat, throw rug to sit on, Art gear, Cameras, chairs, xmas cards.
Are we still donating money?: Yes! we always donate money to cover the BBQ cost and to save for future meets, gold coin donation of $2.00 or higher to cover the costs of the day.
What's doing?: This will be the last of the four BBQ's for the year of 2007 and our 4th Christmas BBQ bash.
Cricket will be played, prizes to be won!!
Additional notes: I will be making Baccon and eggs for breakfast as Rachel and I will be there early so if you want a cooked breakfast some OJ or a coffee come along.
